How Our Network Works
Who Picks Up the Phone
You talk to an independent local provider. Not a Whatevervital Floor Coating contractor. Whatevervital Floor Coating only makes the introduction. The provider answers your questions and gives you a quote.
Call hours vary by provider. Request a callback to check provider availability.
What the Provider May Ask
Expect a few simple questions. Have answers ready.
- What kind of floor is it? Garage, patio, basement or interior?
- About how big is it, in square feet?
- Is there peeling, powder, oil stains or cracks?
- Does water stand on the floor after storms?
- Is there an old coating on it?
Photos help. A provider can often give a rough range from a few pictures. A firm price usually needs a look at the slab.
Questions to Put to a Provider
You are hiring them. Ask what matters.
- How do you prep the concrete?
- Do you test for moisture in the slab?
- Which coating do you suggest, and why?
- What is in the quote, and what is not?
- How long before I can drive on it?
- What happens if it peels?
- Are you licensed and insured? Can I see proof?
Good providers answer without fuss. Vague answers are a warning sign.
The Decision Is Yours
Compare, then decide. Ask for more than one written quote if you want. Line up the prep steps, materials and warranty terms. The quote with the smallest number is not always the whole story, so read all of it.
Say no whenever you want. There is no obligation, and no one will push you.
